Joyce Golden—Owner, co-founder
As co-founder of Concordance Home Care, Joyce’s dedication to compassionate care helps define the company’s unique mission and philosophy. Her commitment emerged from her professional experience as well as many years spent caring for her own aging family members and a mother-in-law with Alzheimer’s. Able to immediately understand the needs of her clients, Joyce brings a compassionate, empathic perspective to the coordination and management of Concordance Home Care staff and services. Her strong background in operations and personnel management offers a unique insight to finding superior care solutions. Dedicated to ensuring that clients and caregivers live and work in an environment defined by mutual respect, her personal touch in the hiring and placement process establishes long-term, productive relationships with Concordance Home Care staff, clients, and their families.

Prior to founding Concordance Home Care, Joyce spent over twenty-five years in the health care field, working first in hospital administration and then in a variety of sales operations positions with several leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Joyce has a BA in Biology and Human Services from Washington University in St. Louis and a Masters in Hospital Administration from the University of Michigan.  She also has a Certificate in Gerontology from Cascadia Community College and is a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Erik Anderson—Owner, co-founder
Erik’s strong background in business and accounting brings sound fiscal practices to the Concordance Home Care mission. Able to analyze business needs and processes, Erik works with staff and clients to find ways to guarantee quality care that fits an individual’s needs and budgets. His interest in senior care was born from his own experience of caring for a mother with Alzheimer’s and a sister with special needs. Deeply committed to providing quality care that supports the whole family, his personal experience helps define and sustain the high quality of care Concordance Home Care delivers.

Prior to founding Concordance Home Care, Erik spent eighteen years working for PACCAR Corp., implementing accounting systems and best practices for the finance divisions of the company. Erik has a BA in Economics as well as a BA in Business and Accounting from the University of Washington and an MBA from Seattle University. He is also a Certified Nursing Assistant.
